Expertise

A sociologist and demographer by training, Jack’s areas of expertise include demography and ecology, race and ethnic studies, and research methods, with his work focused on and at the intersections of three areas of human migration:

  • Migration systems and networks
  • Climate and environmental migration and displacement
  • Social inequality, exclusion and incorporation
